Summary

A position has become open in a company which is the leading global supplier of sealing solutions. The role will be Fully responsible for Purchasing / Procurement / Planning functions for the goods handled in Japan for domestic market and export requirement

Responsibilities

• Direct reports: 4 Permanent staffs
• Drive streamlining the processes with a focus on customer satisfaction and supply chain management objectives
• Work with the company’s management team and Global SCM team to keep rationalizing and developing operation processes
• Experience in S&OP process
• Team management experience
• Work experience in global and inter-cultural/diversified work environment

Requirements:

• Excellent communicator
• Outstanding negotiation skills even under tough situations
• Strong strategic and analytical skills
• Advanced technical / academic knowledge in Supply Chain processes
• Solid operational and process management skills
• Ability to lead, motivate and mentor the team, with proven leadership skills
• Desire to improve and commit to achieve
• Technical knowledge in seal/packing (preferred)
• University degree
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement or Demand Planning, preferably in machinery / machine parts industry
• Japanese: native level / English: fluent
