職務内容

 

Summary

Reporting to the Finance Manager and working in a team including a plant accountant, senior accountant and temp staff, you will play an important role to ensure all accounting tasks are performed correctly and accordingly to the local statutory standards, IFRS and Group requirements, including the day-to-day transactions and forecasting. Work is performed in a fast paced environment within tight time constraints

 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for either Accounts receivable or Accounts Payable / travel and expenses booking, reconciliation and control
  • Ensure the daily financial transactions necessary to support monthly, quarterly and annual closing processes
  • Organize and follow up the accounting of the company for external and internal reporting
  • Maintain complete and accurate accounting records including input and processing of invoices, cash receipts, expenses and accruals
  • Identify any potential process failure, error, opportunities for improvement and suggest or apply if possible corrective action
  • Prepare documented inputs for forecasting
  • Support Finance Manager in preparation of financial statements, data analysis, taxes and audits
  • Involved in the projects to implement new financial applications and tools
  • Communicate with plant employees to solve financial issues
  • Other duties as assigned, including full shift of assignment at some point to expand financial experience

 

Requirements

Personal Background

  • 3 to 5 year experience in accounting, financial reporting and budgeting, preferably in a global company
  • Experience in automotive industry with AR self-billing exposure preferred
  • Experience in SAP system (FI, CO modules preferred)

 

Skills & Abilities

  • Boki level 2 certification preferred
  • Self-starter and autonomous
  • Ability to handle multi-tasking
  • Have good communication & organization skills
  • Team work oriented
  • Excel in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Computer proficient in Microsoft Excel and common applications used in office
  • Ability to collect, maintain and analyze data
  • Knowledge of local tax is a plus
  • Native Japanese and good communication skills in English (writing, reading and speaking)
