Summary

Join a global leader of the Automotive Cyber Security industry to develop the future of automotive innovation and safety.

As a Security Architect, analyze and identify potential security gaps to develop strategies and solutions. Build on your technical software background and customer communication skills to consult with Automotive OEMs and Tier 1s how to raise the level of their cyber security. 

Responsibilities

• Support organizations on their journey for compliance
• Review and analyze complex automotive systems such as: in-vehicle networks and components, embedded systems, OTA update systems and more
• Review and analyze automotive communication protocols, security regulations and standards
• Track and analyze cybersecurity trends and emerging technologies
• Perform security threat analysis and risk assessments, develop security concepts and requirements for automotive systems and networks
• Design secure architectures and security controls
• Consult, present and work with OEMs and Tier 1 R&D teams on various security projects
• Create processes and procedures to support regulations.

Requirements                           

• Embedded software development background
• Understanding of automotive industry
• Knowledge of communication and secure protocols, algorithms
• Experience with analyzing complex systems, threat analysis and risk assessment
• Understanding of regulation processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication in both English and Japanese (native or near-native in both)
• Strong drive for self-learning, and proactive attitude

Helpful to have:
• Offensive security background
• Experience with HW and SW embedded systems
• Knowledge of ISO 21434, ASPICE, Cyber Security Management Systems, Risk Management Frameworks, Audit methodologies
