Summary:
Proactively manage customer relation to achieve excellent customer satisfaction in both customer and internally and provide engineering consultancy and technical insights.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Window for software application engineering on brake products in Japan.
- Engineering customer interface in a global team environment.
- Manage software application engineering in closing engineering issues to meet customer satisfaction.
- Confirm software requirements documents / validation plans with customer. Clarify customer requirements.
- Demonstrate and Explain company’s designs and specifications to the customer.
- Coordinate and lead customer design review of product development based on change points and failure mode.
- Develop and get agreement of product specifications and criteria for validations.
- Develop and prioritize action items and close action items with strategic thinking in a global team environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or Science or equivalent
- At least 5 years of experience in software development engineering in Automotive industry
- Basic knowledge of project management
- Work experience with global environment (working with overseas team members and customers)
- Managing multiple priorities with capability of risk management
- Persuasion and negotiation skill
- Creative problem solving (Develop goals and describe scenario to resolve technical issues)
- Efficient communication skill in both Japanese and English
